The District Championship will be four days (traditional regional model) with a full practice day unlike the abbreviated district even schedule.

District teams qualify for the District Championship one of the following ways:

• District Chairman's Award

• District Engineering Inspiration Award (qualifies to compete for the award only)

• District Rookie All-Star (qualifies to compete for the award only)

• District ranking (see below)

District teams are ranked throughout the season based on the points they earn at their first two home District events they attend, as well as at their District Championship. Points are awarded to teams as follows:
